Aldo and Jane were walking out of the seminar just as Director Shepherd accosted Mr Palmer and Dr Mallard in front of them, "Micheal's case has just turned into a homicide" She told them, "They still have another one missing so we need everyone on tune." She stopped but they could all sense there was more, "She is only eight years old but Micheal told me it is pretty obvious that she was raped and so he is very worried for her sister who is only six."
"Ducky please tell me you have something for me" Micheal said as he walked into the autopsy.
Dr Mallard looked up from the young girls body, "Whoever did this is a monster" He told Micheal.
Micheal looked at the word 'LIAR' carved into the girls thigh, with the amount of blood it was obvious she was still alive when it happened, "Yeah, no kidding, have you anything that can help me find her sister?"
"I have sent some samples up to Abby, but in the meantime I have something to show you and it is not pleasant"
Ducky led Micheal to the microscope and Micheal raised his eyebrows when Ducky told him where the sample came from, "It is very obvious the girl was raped Ducky" Micheal commented.
Ducky took a deep breath, "No, this is something else, you need to take a look for yourself"
Micheal looked through microscope lens and for the second time that morning felt sick "How long would it take for scars to become that deep?" He asked Ducky.
Ducky looked grim, "It would take approximately a year of constant rape to produce scars as deep as that."
Micheal walked into the bullring that formed his teams desks "What do we know?"
Agent McGee looked up from his computer "I found the mother in a mental asylum in Ohio."
"Did the father know she was there?" Micheal asked thoughtfully.
McGee nodded "He was the one who had her committed."
"Interesting" Micheal mused "What do we have about the sighting?"
"Nosey neighbour noticed a man and a very upset child enter the forest" Ziva told him, "We have a vague description of the man as she was looking more at the girl, she did get us a number plate but the van was stolen"
"What about the father of the year?" Micheal asked.
"Exemplary military record, never had so much as a parking ticket" Tony told him.
"Those are the ones you have to watch out for" Ziva commented.
"I bet Micheal has never had a parking ticket" Tony told her.
"DeNozzo do you have anything useful?" Micheal snapped.
Tony nodded quickly "There is one thing, fifty grand was suddenly deposited in his bank account three days ago from a unknown source"
Micheal frowned as possibilities raced through his head, "McGee found out where that money came from, Tony, this is starting to look like a professional so have a look at registered sex offenders in the area and Ziva bring in Captain Whistler again, I think it is time we made the Whistler squeal."
"Abby, please give me some good news" Micheal said as he walked into her lab
"I am not pregnant" Abby replied. Micheal looked at her a bit funny "It was the only good news I could think of."
"The monster that did this used a condom so no DNA but Ducky sent me a pubic hair he found in her hair, it may have been there a couple of days though."
"Whose is it?" Micheal asked even though he already had a fair idea.
"It is the fathers" Abby replied "The blonde hair that Ziva found belonged to the mother though, I found something strange on the strand that didn't make sense, it is bacteria like a mould or mildew."
Micheal thought for a minute "Could it be like the bacteria found at the bottom of a old hairbrush?"
Abby smiled "Exactly like."
