Ceilidh really enjoys it and it's fun to see how everyone has grown and changed each month. It's amazing how much they do change in just a month. It's hard to believe that she will only be able to attend this program for four more months. It doesn't seem possible that we are nearing her second year birthday. Time flies, what can I say. Thankfully, they have a nice pre-school program that is similar but geared more to the 2-5 year range.

Normally after the library we go to Chicago's for lunch with Jody and Rosie but today we decided to get our lunch to go and take the girls to the park for a picnic. I think they both really enjoyed it. Ceilidh loved the different slides that were just her height and of course the swings are always a favorite. Unfortunately, though it was very hot out today so we only lasted about an hour at the park and Ceilidh got her first ever sunburn. It's mild but you can see a definite pink line delineating where her shirt sleeve was and wasn't. We had just enough time to come home and cool off a bit before going to pick up her papa from work.

We picked up Jack and then headed out to the bookstore because I had to do some last minute Father's Day shopping. Jack took Ceilidh around the store while I picked out some goodies. Then we went on to the cafe where I shared a frozen lemonade with Ceilidh, Jack had Frappucino and we all shared a blueberry muffin. Ceilidh loved it and kept exclaiming, "MMM, It's good!" She's so cute. While we were eating an elderly couple sat down at the table next to us. The man turned and looked at Ceilidh and said, "OH...welcome to the planet!" I don't know why I just thought that was so cute. We always get someone coming up to us while we are out to talk to Ceilidh. They say how cute she is, and remark on how much she talks, or comment on what she has said but I have never had anyone come up and welcome her to the planet. It was very sweet. :) When we got home Ceilidh was so worn out from her day of fun that she just grabbed her favorite book and sat down in her rocker to relax. This kid cracks me up, she's such a hoot.
