Dresden RPG 8/26/2011
This episode began with Riley at work, where two Federal Agents could be seen in her Editor's office, he directly them to where her desk was. Sure enough, the Fed approach her, and ask her to join them in the conference room.
They ask her all manner of questions about Agent Winter's location and the nature of their relationship. She manages to snow them pretty good, and they leave her a business card to contact them in case he tries to contact her again.
Everyone convenes at Alex's house, since he was not at the hospital when Venus was brought in. Ted gets a call saying that there are Federal Agents and Police crawling over his house, and that there is some heat going on in the land of the Paranet.
The session ends with Riley's player accepting the compel to go back to her White Court Vampire Husband's place to stay the night and try to enlist his assistance.
What Rocked:
Awesome use of the group compel rules. Alystria's player came up with the Compel that Riley should go to her Vampire husband for help, something that I hadn't even considered at the Time.
What could improve:
I was toast. we gamed on a friday evening due to schedule issues, and I spend 3 hours stuck in traffic driving back to Sacto from SF. Therefore I was not in the finest form, and the events that happened were really hazy. I hate to say it, but I phoned in most of the session, letting the players carry the game with interpersonal RP and Drama.
