I've been hot and heavy in pursuit of princess theme items for a magic fairytale castle party for my dd's upcoming fourth birthday. She picked the theme and is very excited about it. I've been to a zillion craft stores, party supply stores, paper stores, rubber stamping stores, scrapbooking stores! And you know what? Disney crap everyfreakinwhere! Hardly anything else! Don't we have any imagination anymore? Where are the kickass princesses that our preschoolers can respect? Seriously, I want a princess full of attitude! Not one of those eyelash batting foofies that Disney put out there for our girls to emulate.

I finally found a crown and a castle rubber stamp and will be making my own invitations.

Yes, obsessing over princess graphics is now a mainstay of my life in January.
