Seeing Red
My dd loves the color red. It is her absolute favorite.
So, she picked red for the color she'd like her bedroom done in.
Little did I know that apparently RED is not for GIRLS.
Grrrrrr!
Anyhoo, if I knew how to sew, I'd just whip out my own bedding. Since I don't know how to sew (yet), I searched high and low for something in that deep. dark. red. that my girlie likes so well.
Tonight, I finally found it.
At Fred Freakin' Meyer of all places.
A red and white quilt, with bits of green. The reds are mostly deep, but also varied a bit in tone, so it isn't just a high contrast red/white kind of a thing. It was on sale. It was the last one left. It was the right size.
I'm jazzed.
