First of all, thank you so much to everyone who helped me out with my Glee questions and musings. I feel like I'm so much more in tune (pun, ha ha ha) with what people are thinking. And it just made for interesting read, especially from those who hate Will, and those who love him. KUDOS, PEOPLE.
I have not thought really deeply indepth about the season finale, either, but I'd just like to publicly acknowledge
raiindust's suggestion of a Disney-themed episode. This needs to happen so much that I'm willing to give up my firstborn for it. Maybe.
WORLD CUP IS ALMOST HERE HUZZAAAAAAHH. This is the first WC without living in the same house as my dad and that's kind of strange. In a sad way. But things:
a) To the Germans on my flist, 'cause there's a bunch of you, I love you guys. I would say good luck but it's not like you actually need it, right? You're going to win anyway.
b) Timezones suck this time around as they did in 2006. The matches are at like 3am here, and it's the middle of winter and too cold to watch them outside on the big screens. (Although last time it was also exam period, so at least I don't have to worry about that now. Sympathy to those who do, though.)
c) Those trumpets are getting to be really annoying. They're like a swarm of mosquitos.
d) Got my dad the best birthday present ever: tickets to Melbourne Heart vs Everton! (Will be interesting to see who he goes for; Everton is his team but hey, Heart's first game!) I'm so proud of myself because usually my presents to Dad consist of a hug, a card, and baking a cake because I don't know what else to get him.
Went to see Shrek today (why is the distribution here to slow this time?) and boy, I loved it. After #3 my hopes weren't high but this was great! And
remember Simba, our cat? I've realised since meeting him that he is exactly like Puss. Same charactertics, same expressions, same body language. He just needs an accent and a hat and he's good to go. It's hilarious.
Dear Carlton: I love you dearly but sometimes you really, really suck. Like tonight. That was pathetic and if you don't come out fighting against Freo next week I'll shoot something.
On a happy note, we had our own fireworks display last night! We're on a fifth floor apartment (of a six-floor building) looking out onto water, and they had a boat right in front of our building shooting off fireworks for ten minutes or so. It was a promotional thing for one of the new apartment buildings in the complex, but it was awesome to be so close! Might have burnt dinner whilst watching it, though. Oops.
