Okay, so we finally got to see I Love You, Too and I LOVED IT. So perfectly cast; I don't watch Chuck (I know, I know) but I love watching Yvonne Strahovski's face. And I adore Peter Dinklage for doing this film. And whatever, Jennifer-Hawkins-lovers, Megan is like a female Midas. But the film made me feel homesick, maybe its only downside? So many quotable quotes in there though, I can't even remember them.
Not even a day later and I've already seen a Jessica Watson lolpicture. Bwahaha.
Screw you, Gold Coast television programming. They've decided not to show this afternoon's footy game live (instead showing Hawthorn vs Richmond twice? surely not an exciting game), instead airing it five hours later. I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO IT. Went to watch the Brisbane vs Geelong match last night and Lions supporters don't know how to react when their team is losing being thrashed at home. And LOL @ no one caring that Fev kicked his 600th goal. Sucker.
Also, non!live football means an Underbelly clash. Because we all love TV shows about hookers and drug dealers and currupt cops, don't we?
I enjoyed last week's 30 Rock so much that I almost had trouble comprehending how good this week's was. I haven't done this in ages but RAMBLING TIME NAO.
30 Rock, 4x21 Emmanuel Goes to Dinasaur Land
1. I love how Liz takes advice from Colleen. Even if she doesn't quite get it. If only Jack would too... about baby buckets and things like that, I mean. Duh.
2. "It just looked like a black version of him!" Oh Dr Drew, you are so adorably dumb. Did he get his degree from the Ho Chi Minh School of Medicine too, I wonder?
3. "Excellent pantomime is supposed to look idiotic." HOW DOES MICHAEL SHEEN MAKE A POTENTIALLY REALLY IRRITATING CHARACTER SOMEONE I LOVE? Russ and Rebecca on Chums. "I'll be here always, when the rains fall in Wales." I had to pause the episode because I was laughing too hard.
4. Oh, also had to pause half a second later after: "I don't want to go back to England. I can't suffer through the London Olympics - we're not prepared, Liz! Did you see the Beijing Opening Ceremony? We don't have control over our people like that." BEST. LINE. ALL. SEASON.
5. And oh my god, I read the exact same passage as Liz did at my cousin's wedding when I was seven. WE ARE SO ALIKE, LL.
I'm so looking forward to next week's episode, which should probably be about an hour by the amount they have to get through, but sad because once again, as season has come and gone in the flash of an eye.
OH and because I'm slightly distant from the interwebs and its nerds these days, can I just get a consensus on one issue? Answer me this: AVERY OR NANCY?
I don't know how people are leaning but I much, much prefer Nancy over Avery. Avery irritates me with her superiority. (Which is her character, I know, but.) Nancy eats a shitload of Indian food and chills out looking like Liz Lemon! And Julienne Moore is just so pretty so I like looking at her more. There, my very indepth points of validity.
Basically, I love "let's bring everyone back" episodes. Last week with the mothers, this week with the ex's. Good times, yo.
I'm debating whether I should make myself a coffee or if it's more fun to sit here and download music instead. Anything but checking the live footy scores. Argh! Meanwhile, I'll put this song on repeat. Because even though it's on the radio every five seconds, I FREAKING LOVE IT. Also did an awesome contemporary routine to it at dance this week. So there.
Edit: Forgot to say, but anyone else like Kylie's new song? It's so... dancey and catchy.
Edit II: Speaking of music, the only thing I thought of when I heard the official song of the World Cup "Waka Waka" by Shakira, was Fozzie Bear.
