I...forgot to post a hiatus-announcing post? Indeedy, I did. So: I HAD A HIATUS. 'Cause I went back home for five days which was brilliant and awesome (and cold, but I like cold) and then just have abandoned the computer since. I've backlisted about four days rather than the required 10-ish, but I'm being lazy. So if karma was right, I shouldn't have anyone reading this entry because that's rather not fair. But read if you wish, ha ha ha!
MELBOURNE: Mamma Mia in the first row of the balcony right in the middle, omigosh. We got treated to Grossi Florentino for dinner; read v.v expensive, will never go back there again until a millionaire, etc etc. I saw all my girlfriends. I spent a day at home, making myself tea and doing all the things I used to. I got to wear my boots and jeans and scarves again which I really miss. Two footy games and ajdhsksjs amazing to be at the G again.
BEFORE MELBOURNE: Whilst moaning how I didn't get to go to the international comedy festival this year,
tearcreek alerted me to the Roadshow, which after the festival, tours around the country to all the regional towns and so we went to the Brisbane show! Sammy J (EFFING LOVE THIS GUY), Sam Simmons, Josie Long and Justin Hamilton. I love the Powerhouse Theatre too (it reminded me of Flinders Lane), and can't get over how many Indian restaurants there are around it, lulz.
TELEVISION: 30 Rock was flippin' FANTASTIC this week, I need to rewatch it again 3827323 times. OMIGOSH THE FINALE PICS ARE MAKING MY INSIDES THROB. The Boy and I finished Black Books and he got all sad there were no episodes left. Bwahaha @ how much Channel Ten are trying to pimp out Team BlakeLee on Good News Week.
SOMETHING I'VE BEEN MEANING TO WRITE FOR MONTHS AND MONTHS: I want to cry a bit inside every time I see mention of the Death at a Funeral remake. WHY WHY WHY. A small part of me wants to see it though, in spite of myself. Maybe just to mock, idk. And Tracy Morgan.
MOVIE: I really, really want to go and see I Love You, Too. I'VE BEEN WAITING SINCE DECEMBER. C'mon, my fellow Australians, support the local industry!
Imma hungry now (how did it almost get to 2pm?) and the footy's on, so I'll leave this here. Keep well, my sweets! And a happy Mother's Day to the couple of mamas I have on my flist. The fact that my voicemail to my own mother is still unanswered is because she's too technologically-challenged to realise she has a voicemail, rather than because she's ignoring me. I'm 99.5% positive.
Edit: She had a fever, so not ignoring me! Hurrah!
