Clearly my posting is only going to be fortnightly. Fail, me. (And though I've been failing spectacularly at commenting, I've been reading everything! Except for anything between April 1 - 3, because frankly, I ran out of patience backlisting. Sorry if you wrote anything important then, and feel free to give me a shove in the right direction!)

Anything for me ~exciting~ to report?

My experience seeing Date Night was heightened by the fact that the very awesome gemmi_joo was sitting next to me, and it's always more fun to see something if you can fangirl over the fun Tina had with a pole. Amirite?

I'm trying to catch up with Grey's Anatomy. (I don't even know why, except the fact that my head tells me I should?) I literally had only seen the first, like, four episodes of this season. Now am up to the thireenth. Same goes with Private Practice and I still need to watch something like seven episodes of Glee. How has my dedicated TV watching run off the rails so? I've seriously only been keeping up with 30 Rock and Desperate Housewives. And I can't freaking wait til Packed to the Rafters comes back!

Going up to Brisbane tomorrow night for the Brisbane vs Western Bulldogs game, which I believe may be the potential Grand Final this year, so it should be good. And the Gabba's a great stadium - two weeks ago it was sold out and amazing. Although HA HA HA FEV'S PROBLEMS ARE BRISBANE'S NOW. It feels so good to be rid of that idiot.

Crazy things happening in the world. Polish politics. Chinese earthquakes. Icelandic ash. Here? THE GOVERNMENT ARE FINALLY GOING TO TRIAL DAYLIGHT SAVING IN QUEENSLAND. Hurrah! Don't get me wrong: I understand north Qld don't need it. Just as I understand that splitting a state into two timezones will complicate productivity, etc. I get it. But from an entirely selfish point of view, it's silly that the sun rises at 5am and sets at 5:30pm when it doesn't have to, and to drive to Tweed Heads and it's an hour different. Plus, half the Gold Coast population are from Victoria and are demanding it anyway, ha ha.

I stumbled across my video folder the other day, and pensively rewatched some Sandy and Keanu clips. Not sure if it was subconscious due to her being hot in the news items, but sigh. Those were the good times. I toyed with the idea of doing a picspam of them just before the Oscars, and then shit hit the fan and I feel like it'd be in poor taste now, so I'll resist. Damn, they need to do another movie together OR I'LL KEEL OVER AND DIE. Dramatic? Not at all. Because they were THAT. awesome.

Right, that's me done for another fortnight, ha-di-ha. ♥
