I wrote the following on February 21, 2007 immediately after deciding to fully privatize my journal. Unfortunately it was not to the public, only to livejournal friends. This might explain why so much of the journal has still been available.
"I think this will make everyone a little more comfortable. i CUSTOM privatized my livejournal. meaning, some entries will be open to the public, some will be open ONLY to my livejournal friends list, some will be open ONLY to a custom friends list, and some will be private.
problem solved.
i'm glad it worked out this way, because no matter how much i did not want samantha's dad to read this, and most people to read other things, i still wanted to be able to communicate with you guys.
