Christmas getting to know me
Welcome to the Christmas edition of getting to know your friends. Okay, here's what you're supposed to do, and try not to be a SCROOGE!!!
Just copy (not forward) this entire email and paste it into a new e-mail that you can send. Change all the answers so that they apply to you.
Then send this to a whole bunch of people you know, INCLUDING the person that sent it to you...Tis the Season to be NICE!
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? wrapping paper if it's a square/rectangular gift. Gift bags for everythign else.
2. Real tree or artificial? It's not Christmas without a real tree
3. When do you put up the tree? sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas...sometimes only a few days before Christmas...but I prefer sometime around the 10th
4. When do you take the tree down? January, before the semester starts
5. Do you like eggnog? don't think I've ever actually had it
6. Favorite gift received as a child? popcorn balls in the stockings
7. Do you have a nativity scene? no, but I wanted the Charming Tails nativity scene a few years ago. I hoped to get it as a gift but didn't and never picked it up for myself.
8. Hardest person to buy for? my brothers
9. Easiest person to buy for? my mom
10.Worst Christmas gift you ever received? a sweatshirt with my name puffy painted on it
11.Mail or e-mail Christmas cards? mail.
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? A Christmas Story followed by those classic kids ones like Rudolph and Frosty
13. Favorite Christmas Carol? any that are easy to sing.
14. When do you start Christmas shopping? I try to pick things up throughout the year.
15. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? probably, but no examples come to mind.
16. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? my dad's fudge and my mom's cookies
17. Clear or colored lights on tree? I like both but when I bought my own lights they were all clear
18. Favorite Christmas song new this year? I don't know what's new.
19. Travel or stay home? In general? I like to be where my loved ones are. this year, staying home.
20. Can you name all Santa's reindeer? not without help
21. Angel or star on top? actually last year it was a snowflake. This year it's a star
22. Open presents Christmas Eve or morning? Morning. Stockings first thing. Presents after breakfast or in the afternoon. Still trying to get Mom to commit to opening one present on Christmas Eve as a tradition. During my last relationship we started the tradition of giving each other an ornament when we put up the tree.
23. Most annoying thing this time of year? people who don't obey traffic rules
24. What I love most about Christmas? spending time with close friends and family and enjoying the holiday spirit!
