Bird update:

Okay so two birds were actually only one blackbird. My housemate and her boyfriend had no success trying to tease it out of the loft so they gave up and left the hatch open so it could fly out into the house of its own accord. I am so dumb. On Friday I came home and wondered why one of the recycling boxes was partially obscuring the front door. I thought that maybe I'd left it there and forgotten about it (pretty likely with my memory) and thought nothing of it. I sneezed earlier and in the process of doing so I somehow impinged my tongue between my teeth and cut it. And now it hurts. My housemate (and, to be fair, me) nearly died laughing at my gross ineptitude.

And I bought two packs of loratadine in Boots earlier... perhaps I should have bothered to actually take one of them...
