House M.D.

I'm not going to be a homeless doctor :). I travelled to York and back yesterday to look at a house in some crazy 500 mile round trip which actually went very smoothly. I'm adamant that travelling through London is the only way to go. It seems completely counterintuitive as half the universe is there (and most of them are walking a metre in front of you at snail's pace...) but public transport to and from the city WORKS... unlike that in the rest of the country. There was yet another problem with Oyster cards so my underground travel was free between Oxford Circus and King's Cross :). Anyway my crazy journey was worthwhile because I now have somewhere to live in a week's time. It's a fairly nice house and it's close to the hospital and fairly close to town so it should be okay.  Ed wasn't expecting me back last night so when he heard me come in near midnight he was totally confused. He thought he heard voices and so managed to convince Nicky that I'd brought somebody home with me which made me laugh. Chance would be a fine thing.

I can't believe this moving jazz is all happening so soon. I'm absolutely petrified. I'm trying not to think about how little time I have left in Oxford as it just depresses me and I'm sick of my room epitomizing chaos as I halfheartedly pack my things away.

Today I've been doing what I do best. Ignoring all this big scary stuff and hoping that it will go away. We had a barbecue to take advantage of the sunny weather and it was very yummy.
