Start spreading the news, I'm leaving today...
It's February 29th... it's a leap year... women can officially propose to their boyfriends (although really they can do this on any of the other 365 days of the year so I don't find it particularly interesting) and I'M FLYING TO NYC!!!!! Excited does not even begin to cover it. I've completely overpacked which is always a danger when you only have a huge suitcase but at least I should be prepared for extreme weather. My friend is travelling up from VA (hopefully) in time to meet me at the airport and we figured out that her journey across a few states will take about the same length of time as mine across the pond. Madness.
Oh and I'm still a wee bit afraid of flying but I'm kinda forgetting about that. I'm concentrating on the whole seeing my best friend after nearly three years part. I'm fully expecting to burst into tears at the airport when I see her. And I can count on one hand the number of people who have ever seen me cry.
I'll try squeeze in an entry whilst I'm over there and I'll spam the world with 23899856 pictures on my return!
