Taking a Breather

It's one of those evenings when you're like, wow, I have worked *so* hard lately that it doesn't matter anymore. I'm spent, and right now, I'm going to do whatever the heck I feel like...which is most likely sitting here and doing nothing. So...what has been on my mind...

I saw a psychologist at MIT medical last Friday. Her name is Audra, and I think this is going to be a really good thing. She knew just what to ask and how to ask it. I'm seeing her again tomorrow. Off of her reccomendation, I contacted MGH (Mass. General Hospital) to see if they had any studies going on about underweight women and osteoporosis. I am signed up to do a bone density test in October. Yey and uh oh. Yey, I want to see what my bone density is like, as well as provide data to these researchers. Uh oh, I'm not sure I want to know if I've lowered my bone density by messing with my body.

Career Fair was today. The moment when everyone shoves aside all the work that's on their plate to say, "hey, the point of all of this is still just to get a job!" I chatted up the CIA and Schlumberger. Schlumberger to see if they could offer me a better internship than Exxon Mobil, the CIA to see what I could do for them after graduation. CIA...very cool. Yup yup.

Love,
Cristina
