Beautiful weather, beautiful windows

I'm a tired chica today. Tired because I had an amazing, action-packed weekend. It started with a big teen game night at Barnes & Noble (part of the statewide fundraiser). Thanks to everyone who showed up and/or helped out. It was a success :)

Saturday was Spring Cleaning Day. We tackled just about every surface of the house, including the outside of the windows (tilt-in windows = love). Normally I'm not a fan of cleaning, but I was inspired by the beautiful weather. We opened all the windows, cranked up the stereo and worked toward a sparkly home.

Later on was Librarian Game Night. Food! Drinks! Librarians! Video Games in Three Rooms! Gotta say I had a blast. The party ended around 2am and I was awake again at 6am on Sunday (stupid insomnia)...but it was so worth it. I don't think I'll ever get tired of Guitar Hero, Rabbids and Wario Smooth Moves.

I got to enjoy more of the unbelievably wonderful weather yesterday while I drove to Book Club. I took the long way, along the Charles River, with the windows down and the sun roof open. Ahhh! The weather made me long for Arizona and California - places where I can have 75F and sunny more than a few times a year. But I wonder if I would appreciate it as much if I didn't see snow in April. Regardless, the warm breeze made for a pleasant drive.

Today I'm stuck inside, though I have plans to wander a bit on break. I'm amazed at the number of people I've seen in the building. One would think that the lure of fleeting good weather would keep people off teh Internet. Or not.
