Librarian Chaos Theory

Originally uploaded by CDaisyM. I have a theory. I'll call it the "Librarian Chaos Theory". If you give the average librarian a brand new, clean desk, within a very short period of time said desk will be covered with piles of books and papers, and odd little personal items. May I now present my first piece of evidence (see picture to the right).
If you recall, the first picture of my desk had a computer and a book. This picture has a whole pile of books, some fun personal things and a pile of paper. What you don't see is the two piles of books on the floor and the pile of catalogs on the end of the desk.
Now, compared to my old desk, this is extremely neat. I'd like to keep it this way, but I have a funny feeling that, no matter what I do, piles of books will sprout out of the desk. I have decided to document this phenomenon as the month progresses. Stay tuned.
