I've been getting this book each October since the 2005 edition. I've found it really useful for educating myself on a variety of different companies out there. The author has an excellent ability to choose stocks, in addition, he adds detailed information on each company's dividend and earnings history.

When I'm reading news on Yahoo I'll frequently run across a company mentioned in the book, and then I can cross-reference the information given to help me choose something to buy. Preorder it and you'll save $5 at the bookstore.
