I'm weary from trying to shake it
We had no Internet at work today, and I even tried to post to LJ from my cellphone. It didn't work, though. :( How do you do the text message posts if you're in Europe?
They let me leave work 15 minutes early - I guess they could tell I was bored. ;) I actually started writing some fic (in SWEDISH!) at work, and I need to remember to bring a USB memory so that I can take it home with me in case the Internet is still down tomorrow.
After work I went shopping, mostly for devinlind because he's missed 31 birthdays already and I wanted to do something special. I also ended up buying a soft serve ice cream cone because they apparently come in a low-lactose variant these days! YAY! It was yummy and I've had no health problems because of it, so more YAY! Oh, and did you know that Margaret Thatcher was part of the team of scientists who invented soft serve? *g*
Then Munirih picked me up and I got to meet her mom and all her siblings apart from Mona, but I met her yesterday. :) I had a blast but became tired way too soon, and Jalla and her hubby drove me home.
I'm gonna go to bed soon so that I'm not as sleepy tomorrow as I was today....
