Happy birthday,
princessrydia! :)
Well, my first workday is over. And while I wasn't tired after my four (five if you count the lunch break) hours, I'm BEAT now. Speaking and reading English and Swedish while attempting to write in Swedish and listening to Arabic and Hungarian at the same time can be really tiring, let me tell you! Speaking of Hungarian, if there's anyone on my flist that either speaks Hungarian or can point me to someone who does, I would really appreciate it.
I did enjoy my workday, though, even though the job center are now saying I can only be there for one month before the company has to hire me.... *shakes head* I do hope they like me enough to keep me on, even though communication is a problem at times.
When my cab pulled up to work this morning, the movie usher/tech A. called me to ask if I could take the boxes with VCD movies he'd promised me. I said he could swing by since I hadn't started work yet, but when he did I realized I couldn't take those boxes with me into work...so I asked him to drop them on my porch instead, and he did. :)
Dad picked me up after work, and after visiting Mom and having dinner he drove me to drama class, which was fabulous. :) He drove me home afterward and helped me get the boxes into the house. I've done a quick count, and there were about 40 movies I already have on DVD, and over 200 movies I didn't have (incl. the Dark Angel eps which I've longed to see again). Some of the movies are crap, I'm sure, but there are quite a few interesting movies in there....
Tomorrow afternoon I'm meeting Erika, and we'll see what we end up doing. Hoperfully work won't have me too tired.
Oh, and I think
this was an important thing to get out in the open re: the Holocaust.
