The pendulum swings

Drama class felt really good today. I talked to Rigmor and Siv about my weariness, and they told me to try and relax and not take drama class so seriously. *g* They also acknowledged that I have to act all the time in the play as I'm on stage all the time, and that I work harder than most people realize. It was just such a relief for me that they hear and see me so well, and give me room to look out for myself first.

I have two solos (one in the afternoon preview, one in the show), one duet and one backup verse on Saturday. It makes me a bit nervous, but it's going to be so much fun! I just need to remember to do voice warmups first.

When I came home I wrote some on my April Fools novel. Since I'm "only" aiming at 10,000 words this month, I've just reached 742 words. But I feel good about both the story so far as well as the pace, and I have an idea where the story is going which is nice (of course, there's now a risk that Dean, Sam and Bobby will clam up on me, but I'll take that risk). :)

I'm going to bed early since I have a full schedule tomorrow:
  • Meeting with recruiting companies at the job center tomorrow morning
  • Possibly lunch, later meeting about social work cooperatives
  • Meeting Erika for fika, then we'll watch The Spiderwick Chronicles (her idea, not mine)

I hope you're all doing well; I feel great tonight! :D

Oh, and Jim Beaver officially rocks my socks. "I have a book coming out next year, though it's not quite the sort you
suggested.  It's a memoir of the year following my wife's cancer diagnosis
and my daughter's autism diagnosis.  Putnam's publishing it, probably in
spring, 2009.  It's called "Life's That Way."" :D
