Happy mother's day to all mothers out there! Especially to
mammamu because she's my mother, and to
mammamuh because she has the cutest kidlets EVAR (sorry
joe1970, I don't know yours yet...and I'm quite biased, you know *g*)
It feels like it's been ages since I posted, but it's actually "only" been 10 days...still, 10 days is a long time...especially for someone with an impaired short-time memory who can't remember what she had for lunch today...well, the reason behind that is that I didn't have lunch, so there. *g*
Went to see Spider-Man 3 the other week, and I was a tad disappointed. Still, it's a Marvel film and I kind of knew what to expect. Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End, which I saw with Erika on Friday, on the other hand was brilliant! I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but Orlando was pretty good! O.o On Friday I also met up with Egon because I'd bought an album from him where all money goes to charity. :-)
Yesterday Roachie and I went grocery shopping; it feels so good to have a well-stocked fridge again!
Today I went to Dollar$tore, they've just moved to a new place and is BIG. Almost too big. *g* I then went to
mammamuh because it's her birthday tomorrow but she's going to school next week, after that to
mammamuh because it's mother's day (and she gave me food *g*). She and I then went to Sofia's soccer game. It was a draw, but very, very exciting! I also got to speak English because the father to one of the other kids is from Scotland - he thought I was English! *g*
Tomorrow I'm going to Roachie's again, then I'm going as NHR representative to a meeting for people with disabilities and whose salary is paid in part by the government. I hope I'll be able to land a job with that too, but lately I've begun to once more lose hope that I'll ever have a job again....
Tuesday is the commemoration of the Ascension of Bahá'u'lláh. I get emotional just thinking about it, which is a nice feeling. To think I'd feel the same way after 15 years!
Wednesday we have the two last performances of the play. It truly is amazing how soon it became natural for me to leave the house at no later than 7.30 (*ahem*, okay, 7.40 some days *g*) on a Wednesday morning! I wonder what the very last performance will be like...hopefully Rigmor, Siv and Patrik won't be up to too much mischief!
Thursday or Friday Dad's moving into his new apartment; I can hardly wait because it's a whole lot more accessible than the one he's living in now.
Well, that brings you up to speed, I guess. There's only one more thing left to say:
Happy (belated, sorry) birthday,
Christopher Lee! :-)
And Paul Bettany!
