The weeklong investigation by journalists at the Las Vegas Review-Journal into
the mysterious identity of the investors who had bought their own newspaper, is going to go down as one of the great acts of journalism of this year.
Unfortunately, given the revelation that the mystery investors are
the family of Sheldon Adelson, it may be the last great act of journalism from the Review-Journal. But it's a hell of a way to go out.
