I stopped at Albertson's after work to get a few things and when I got in line, the cashier was talking to another customer about how you can put your phone number in the machine and access your "Preferred Shopper" discount. He goes on to say that in at any grocery store in any city that has those clubs, you can type in the local area code + 867-5309 and get the member savings.
So, when it was my turn to get rung up, I tried it out and it worked! I've always hated how the supermarkets use those programs to track everything you buy...now they can't! *insert evil laugh here*
So, try it out...I'd be interested in seeing if there are any areas where it DOESN'T work...
