Snowmageddon.......
Is it just me, or is this the most ridiculous word the media has ever cooked up?
I was mostly just shaking my head at it until I received an email from Biggby's coffee offering a Snowmageddon special coupon. Now, I'm irritated. I really do not want to hear and read this word continually for the rest of the winter.
Sheesh.
I think we got about ten inches over the last twenty-four hours. Sure it slows life down a little, but it's hardly a disaster of biblical proportions and definitely not as much so as in other parts of the country. But seriously.
Not looking forward to digging out, but it is kind of pretty.
Pretty normal for winter around here. However I offer my sympathies to my Eastern Seaboard and NY friends and family, who are getting hammered far harder than normal.
And I cringe, because somewhere in El Lay screenwriters are furiously penning 'SNOWMAGEDDON - The Movie'
