Episode 4: 'DEAD is DEAD'... I don't know about this anymore.
Why the fuck does Esther go to visit her sister AND also report her!!! Is she so stupid to think 1) they won't be watching her sister's house AND 2) Social 'fucking' Services?... at the time does she really think she should trust them?... Stupid Stupid Stupid!
Also, has there been an episode where she hasn't CRIED??? It's like EVERY episode she's got the water works going... ANNOYING!!!
If she was SO worried about her sister, she should have talked to Jack/Rex/Gwen to see if she could be relocated, or just take her away herself, and leave Jack, Gwen, and Rex to their own devices.
Rex is such a fucking BASTARD. And as much as I think Esther is somewhat incompetent when it comes to actual operations, he really doesn't help the situation with his screaming her out. He's also so very WHINY, just because he isn't the one doing the mission. It's not only distracting to the 'TEAM' but also, becoming old.
As for the mission, again with the lenses. Great use, thought the continuity still bothers me.
And seriously Esther, telling Gwen to ask who employs him... Like a seasoned operative like Gwen wouldn't have thought of leading up to that.
I've realized, that I don't care about either Rex or Esther, and in turn isn't really interesting in who their families are, or what's going on with them. They haven't been around long enough, or impressed me enough to really WANT to know.
Oswald Danes, is not only extremely CREEPY, but quite calculating too. He's coming into his own quite well. Still hope the character bites the dust, in some horrible way. But that scene with the baby it's like 'somebody take the child away from him!!! NOW'.
Gwen/Eve's american accent...*lol*...OMG... so cute. The scene the whole time it's like the parents want to say 'Stop touching my child'...hee!
It still doesn't feel like 'Torchwood' to me. And they don't seem like a TEAM either. All the sniping by Rex, and the ridiculous action of Esther, throw off what could be a great duo, with Gwen and Jack or trio, with Rhys included.
