Am very surprised and gleeful because the computer man came round today and voila! My laptop is all better! In TWO days! He did say that he's been called out to a few people recently that have all said they went on surfthechannel.com right before their laptops started messing up, and that it looks like that site is being targeted at the moment. Something to do with susceptible scripts or something... IDK. Technical stuff goes WHOOSH over my head. One of his clients had STC as his homepage though and called Craig and said "every time I start firefox, AVG pops up and it says I'm being attacked! Firefox is broken!" and it was actually STC XD
Anyway, WHOOP! It cost £65 but the man checked my sister's laptop too so I guess it wasn't too expensive.
