Back in Kansas.
It's cold. Hurrah for my hotel room heater that is set to 78. I'll turn it down to 75 before I go to bed. Flight wasn't so bad, but alarms went off in the cockpit three different times near the end of the flight. At least there wasn't any snow. Lady next to me on flight from TUS to DEN had a Jack Russel terrier medical assistance dog who was very, very mellow. I was thrilled to pet her. I really miss having a dog and my coyotes won't let me pet them.
Not interested in going to work tomorrow, but at least I have specific things planned to accomplish so it shouldn't drag. Would rather be at home, of course, but I suppose it's only ten days away. I plan to spend the next ten days working, doing my CPE and watching telly. I might leave the hotel on the weekend and go see something but it seems unlikely. I've already seen the Wizard of Oz museum so what could possible top that?
Went to get mail on way to the airport and asked them, "Any chance you have a big box full of my mail because I'm missing a bunch of stuff." Here came a big box full of magazines and mail. "Oh, didn't you get a slip?" Yeah. No I didn't and you suck as I've been in a few times to get packages and you didn't notice? Now I have a ton of magazines to read and I can't shlep them to KS so they will have to sit in my car and wait for me. But, got my rebate from Verizon so I'm glad that fight is over. PM is leaving Thursday to go to Australia so I'll get a car on Thursday and I'll be able to do as I like. YAY!!
