Where did time go?
I'm not quite sure how it's almost Thanksgiving. Heck, I don't know how this week raced by so quickly. I have a bit of dread looking at the calendar and knowing the rest of the year is planned out, including two trips I agreed to that I don't really want to take. *sigh* I'm becoming a hermit; preferring my own company to anyone else. I'm sure the company holiday party could be fun, but I'm suddenly dreading it. Blah.
I don't have to leave until 2pm on Monday so today is getting myself sorted and tomorrow will be packing and getting the house sorted. If I actually get off my bum and get going, that is. Going to stay in Kansas next weekend and plan to do rest of my 16 hours of CPE. I just didn't see traveling 12 hours round trip to go home for 36 hours. When I get home 11/20, parents will probably already be here. Maybe I'll treat myself to a movie and go see Quantum of Solace, although I think I'd prefer it on DVD. I like the bonus features and the close captioning and ability to rewind and replay. Maybe I'll just rent Hellboy 2 if I can find a movie rental place.
Watched last two eppies of Heroes last night. Impressed with the Sylar writing/acting to take a villian and make him likeable and send him down that redemptive path. Wish they'd kill Claire as she's the most annoying character ever (although I did like her with Elle, but I give KB full credit for that). Not many shows I look forward to as I do with Pushing Daisies. Hope it gets extended instead of cancelled. I'd rather have it than Fuller at Heroes fixing things.
