Precious free time.
Will be on a plane on Sunday to fly to Hays, KS for the start of a three-week gig. (I'll go home each weekend.) Basically wasted much of one of my precious 'no work' days today. Need to do some reading to prep for my new gig this week, although that's low on my 'want to do' list.
Went to Phoenix for baby shower. Galpal took me to BabiesRUs, one of my least favorite stores. Although I hate baby showers, this one was ok. At least food was good and I won a candle for guessing galpal's waist size. Did a decent job of chatting up people, but I'd have been happier at home (selfish cow that I am). Did use pals' good internet feed to pull down SGA and Dr. Horrible. We also watched Inside Man which was entertaining.
Got L's cds, but saving the Who for tomorrow, I think. Also have Angels in America to watch as it's due back Thursday. Loved the play when I saw it - hoping this is just as good. Think I will go to new library tomorrow - will need to see if i can dig out my old library card. Wish my allergies weren't trying to make my life hell.
