Back in time...
How is everyone?!?!
Here are a few quick updates, if you care to read on...
-I moved into an apartment in Bloomington with Delaney! It's pretty small, but 5 blocks from everything. It's lovely and blissful and fun and we have a shower curtain with a world map on it. Funny...We compiled our book collections on the same shelf and found that we each had copies of many of the same books, which is supercute, huh?
- My birthday was great! I got a S'mores maker (thanks Michelle!), rabbit ears for our TV (been watching a lot of "joy of painting with Bob Ross" lately, and only found out last week that he's dead!), and also really drunk. It was a blast.
- Delaney bought me a ticket to Bonnaroo for my birthday - fuck yeah!
- I got a perm. haha
- Grindhouse was fucking awesome. G O S E E I T!
- My little brother turned 21, which was so awesome. Looking forward to more time well spent in bars with him.
- Delaney had a birthday. I bombed on his presents, unfortunately. I had one big present in mind for him, but when they didn't have it (fuck), I had to go around collecting little things I thought he would like....ehhh....I even bought him a copy of a book that he already had. I suck. But then we went to the strip club that night, so hopefully that cheered him up.
- Basically, I haven't been this happy in years. I've been doing some heavy reading (James Joyce, The Prophet, philosophy, Whitman poetry) and also some light reading of magazines, newspapers, Running with Scissors, stuff on Buddhism...I have been writing again, too. My job doesn't even really depress me or anything. yay.
