Ready for water action

I bought a hard-shell sit-in kayak yesterday! According to the information from the store-owner/kayaking-afficionado, it is a recreational/light-touring hybrid due to the singe bulkhead, moderately slim lines and slightly longer length (than standard recreational). The barbecue bit reminded me of this series of second hand stores that Tess and I went to earlier this weekend. Its on the 101 about 20 miles North of Santa Rosa. A bit far away but definitely a days worth of entertainment. It's a Salvation Army place with four or five different shops to it. We filled my Pathfinder with stuff and had to go back and get another load. (Ok so we bought two couches but plenty of other stuff too.)

Heh, cool! I ended up getting the barbecue. It was a tight fit getting it into my Tercel, had to put it in the front passenger seat and Sa_briel took back-seat driver-side. ;)
McMahanns is having sales this weekend, of course, so I considered going by there to look at couches for the new place... but I think I've spent enough this weekend. :D
