OOC: Bittersweet ending
In this thread, Gabriel and Michael leave Tadfield Manor. As I read through Michael's response and then clicked on Edit Entry, I hesitated for some moments before typing "Complete" in the post's status field. It'll be Gabriel's last post in LTSH, and likely the last time I use the 'verse: lower tadfield safe house' tag in this journal.
Yes, it's not quite my last post at the comm because I need to make a leaving post for Belial, and I still have some backdated threads that I am in the process of wrapping up, but it'll be the last actual post I'll make there as Gabriel. Gabriel is my first proper RP character, LTSH my first RP comm. Though I'll admit that by this point Gabriel's arrival thread at LTSH, so long ago, makes me cringe a little bit. XD Ishtar was awesome, though. And yes, I made the decision to leave because the game had changed, I wasn't having as much fun as I once was, and I didn't think my characters really fit anymore; I do not regret that decision, but it does not change the fact that I did have a lot of fun. Also, I'm a sentimental sap and like to document 'firsts' and 'lasts'.
I enjoyed my time at LTSH and met many wonderful people. It was full of new experiences for me and I like to think that thanks to RP and the other RPers, my own writing grew. I also spent a lot of time researching things for RP and most of the time I enjoyed it, even if angelology and demonology seem designed to confuse and frustrate people.
