Film Review: Detective Dee

I don't usually do movie reviews, but... this was one was too impressive to resist.

The movie in question is Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame, which actually stands up to the grandiosity of its name. It's a murder mystery set in c. 690 Tang Dynasty in China and oh my God, it was incredible. The cinematography was so fluid and ( Read more... )

argh, the last transformers

anyway, O_O I'll definitely have to check this out! The only problem being... foreign movies are so hard to access in this country /shakes fist. There's all these French animated movies I want to see, maybe this will be slightly easier to find somewhere :|a

"Argh" is indeed an appropriate response |D I didn't actually see it, buut...the trailer was enough xD

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that! D: There is only one theater in Hawaii that plays foreign films...it's my favorite ^^ I hope you will be able to see it some day :) It might be on DVD too because it came out in 2010 :D
