Seriously, cat.

He woke me up at 4 am this morning to get fed.

I gave him his breakfast (really too early) and two hours later, he comes around begging for more!

Did he forget he already ate?!

I was seriously surprised. He's never done that before.

I put down just a little more food and he happily gobbled it right up and left me alone until 7:30 (when he normally wakes me up if I sleep in past this time, 'cause he knows I usually have to start getting ready for work this early!)

So this morning he had an extremely large breakfast (5 oz?!) --- he REAALLY loves this raw recipe, he seriously can't get enough of it! I'm glad he likes it so much, but he really can't be eating that much every day.... LOL!

I've recently become concerned with how much water he drinks - or is not drinking. I always mix the raw with water, and the recipe is made with 1 & 1/2 cup of water anyway -- but I'm still not convinced he's getting ALL the water he needs from his food. He never touches the water bowl I have out for him.

I've been reading cats like moving water. My cat seems completely indifferent to running faucets, bathtubs, or toilets. He just doesn't care for water, period. Nevertheless, I remembered I have one of those rock zen fountains -- so I brought that out and filled it up -- Tonka came over to investigate, but after a good look, simply walked away.

My hope is that he will drink from it, though. If anything, it's a pretty and peaceful decoration. :) :)

He loves the flashlight. He just goes bonkers. It's his new favorite toy. Much safer than the yarn - which immediately ended up in the trash after our little accident along with any other string-like object lying around the apartment.

All this week I'm closing, so I'll be working late - but I have days free! I don't go in until noon today. :)
