The reboot of Highlander has had it's Writer & Director announced... God help us, the poster may look something like this:
Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, who is best known for adapting such literary masterpieces as “Twilight”, “New Moon”, and “Eclipse” has signed on to help write Summit Entertainment’s new “Highlander” reboot which looks like bad news for fans of the original “Highlander” franchise.
To make matters worse, Summit hired Justin Lin (“Fast and the Furious” 2009, “Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift”) to direct, because knowing how to make cars look like they’re going TOO FAST is essential when developing an emotionally complex period-piece. Makes perfect sense…
