Back Home

It's funny how I am considering Oxford, England my home right now. Although, I should have expected to after living here for 2 months. I was so happy to finally come home. Italy was great and I loved visiting the city of Florence and seeing the sights with Kristen, but it was miserably cold and windy. We saw some amazing things. Original sculptures were on the top of my list. It's almost surreal to see something so grand and beautiful that is also so old. "The Rape of the Sabine Women" and "David" were my two favorites.

I wrote probably the worst essay of my life today. I just didn't have the time or mind to do anything great. Getting back late last night didn't help. But, it's done and over with now, and all I have to do is go and see him tomorrow morning. I also finally have my second meeting with my tutor in Japanese Theater. Finally. After over a month...wow. I hope everything goes well tomorrow! I also get to hit up the Farmer's Market with Lindsay to buy ingredients for our "Thanksgiving salad". I think it's going to have oranges in it. Sound yummy? Well it will be! I just haven't decided if I want to follow a recipe or make it up on my own. I pretty much know what would go well together...maybe I'll make something up! That would be fun AND I would be extra proud of myself afterward!

My family also sent me a care package! YAY! It contained almost all of my favorites! Swiss-Miss Hot chocolate, popcorn (HELL YES!), a big bag of goldfish, and a bag of mini Twix. Oh yum! It was so well appreciated after a long day of traveling.

I posted pictures from Italy on my facebook. Check them out if you can. Here's me on top of the Duomo!

That's it for now.  I still have a bit of work to do before everything starts up tomorrow.  G'night y'all!
Cheers!
