Great Times
This past weekend my family and I went back up to "The Kotch" on Lake Michigan to visit our friends again. It was a fabulous weekend. We got to go back on the boat again on Saturday. I tubed for the first time in close to 6 years! SO FUN! It was incredibly windy on the bay when I was tubing so I got knocked about quite a bit. As a result of holding on for dear life while swerving around the rough bay I am incredibly sore in my shoulders and abs. It was WELL worth it. While I was there I enjoyed the beauty of Lake Michigan and the luscious weather of living on a lake. One day it is my dream to own a house or cottage on the shore of a big lake or the ocean. It is certainly an unforgettable type of atmosphere to be living in. I love it.
Today, I went back to work again and enjoyed to wonders of listening to books on audio. Currently, I am listening to two books, and reading a third (not to mention all the fanfiction that I read daily). One audio book is called Inkheart and is actually a middle school novel. The second is called The Stolen Child and the voice of one of the characters is absolutely entrancing. I never really thought much about audio books, but this summer I seem to have discovered a hidden trove of treasure. Loving it!
Also, I bought a new video game system believe it or not. I bought the Nintendo DS Lite. Splendid little hand held system that I plan to use during all of my upcoming travels. I have a feeling that it will be worth the money investment. OK, I keep getting distracted by the TV as my parents are watching The O'Reilly Show. It is one of the news shows that I enjoy watching. "The spin stops here". Happily, I believe that I will watch Ani-Monday on the SciFi channel. Should be fun! Bye bye now!
