The Up North

The first two days Up North have been great.  Yesterday after arriving up here - after introductions and such social niceties - I immediately went out to the hammock.  I took pictures with my phone (so now I have a great new screenshot) and I just relaxed and listened to the waves.  Then we all went wine tasting to this new winery.  45 North.  It's called that because it's on the 45 parallel.   They just opened up on the 4th of July weekend and for a new winery, every wine we tasted was fantastic.  So we bought a bunch of wine, two bottles of which I'm bringing with me for myself!!  A 2007 Reisling and a 2007 Peach Cremant.  Yumm...

Had dinner outside and finished one book and started another.  I'm now reading Peter Pan.  Finally.  I've been wanting to read this book for a while now.  It took me a while to buy it and now I'm finally getting around to reading it.  So this is book 2 of 5 that I have brought up and it's only the second day that I've been here.

Today has been a very relaxed day.  Went to church at 10:30am, then came home, made lunch, read and hung out, played a little RockBand, took a nap, and now it's time to start preparing dinner.  I'll probably watch a movie tonight too.  Haven't decided which one yet because it all depends on who is going to watch it with me and who wants me to wait to watch a movie with them.

I just love being up here.  I'll upload pretty pictures when I can figure out how to connect my phone to the computer or when I take a legitimate picture with my physical camera.
