but here's what I've been up to:

I am in semester two of library school, taking classes in collection development (I apparently use the "just in case" model for my own collection), internet technology (currently doing perl, syllabus also includes XML and Greenstone) and online resources (learning to use pay databases like DIALOG).

That brings me up to a grand total of FOUR that I've found, out of the seven or so I've looked for. Not too bad, I guess... :)

And Hurray for getting run off by the police in the park!

Seriously, it took me a while to find my way out of that park, and the cops just followed me around until I was back on the road.

Hehe, I thought "wow, those kids have bright flashlights..." and I would have thought they'd follow us, with the out-of-state plates!

I was just glad they didn't hang around and watch us try to guide squackle in backing out through the trees. :-O
