It's time for more Mary and Joseph photos! Today was the first time we took them out into the garden without their harnesses, and they quite enjoyed it. Plenty of things to sniff, smell, see (not chase...yet...) This is very definitely A Good Thing. Given time, it should mean less litterbox-clearing (and thus far fewer Joseph Stinky Specials).

The curtain on the landing window that had previously suffered minor damage is now down to about 1/8 of its hit points, to use gaming terminology. Joseph, needless to say, has had another go at it. And snapped several more curtain hooks. I think there are just 2 or 3 that remain undamaged - at the moment ( Read more... )

Joseph is officially the most mischievous cat (or kitten) I have ever known. In the last few days, the total damage is as follows:
- 1 semi-ripped net curtain (Mum doesn't yet know about this)
- 1 glassish dragonfly snapped off a windchime
- i prismatic cross snapped off its cord
- 3 new and unused loo rolls mauled

As promised! They're about 6 months old. The tabby one is Joseph and the black one is Mary (we didn't know their real names and as I took them in just before Christmas we felt it was appropriate). They're mine, too, so once I finally get out of this wretched county, they're coming with me.

In about 12 hours or so, I will be Mary and Joseph's proper mummy! I got a text from my boss today to say that they'd been released for rehoming by the RSPCA, so I checked with my parents, and we're going to adopt them!!! I am free of horny kittens!!! By which I mean they've been neutered so they should no longer try to shag each other at every opportunity (which they'd been doing since last Wednesday, which coloursofdusk will be able to confirm).
