Finally!!!
I finally have time to cram everything into one little post. LOL
Summer has flown by. The buggars have done so much this summer. Swimming lessons for two weeks, three weeks of daycamp along with a couple overnights with their friends. We hit Wild Waves, saw quite a few movies and, the best part, they went for their first Harley RIDE a couple nights ago. OMG, they LOVED IT! They did like the fact that they were able to fit into my helmet. (I have pics, so if you want to see, let me know I will email them) The oldest can already wear my shoes, they have been taking my socks for about a year now. GRAH! Soon they will be towering over me!
We are going to be going to the cabin for a day or so over the long weekend. Last chance to go swimming there. Still have to do our back to school shopping. YUCK! Nothing like taking two buggars into a store with all the other mom's and their kids to get school supplies that everyone seems to be running out of.
As for me, still working the early shift. Hoping to be back to my normal shift here in a couple weeks. Keeping my fingers crossed on that one. It will be nice to be able to sleep in until 7 instead of getting up at 4 something. Knowing my luck, I will still wake up at the normal time and be bouncing off the walls until it is time to leave. That is the way it usually works.
We went on our first long road trip on the bike. That was entertaining. I did fine until we hit a bump and I landed wrong with the back rest slamming into my back. His backside wasn't feeling that great after 3/4's of the trip. Thinking we may have to get a cushier (sp?) seat for him for longer rides. Nothing like going Vroom Vroom! He is getting new louder pipes sometime this week, so that should be fun. Hopefully they aren't too loud. Yea, I know, bad of me to say but I can only yell so loud. Going to have to break down and get those ear intercom/phone devices for us.
I guess that about sums up my summer. FOOTBALL is starting again! Woot! We got our seats again. Hopefully we can kick some major ass again this year.
