Heat Wave!!!
Grah it is HOT! Now if I lived in California, the weather would be fine. If I lived in Texas, it would be normal. But having high 90's+ weather for the last few days is about killing us up here. Where is our normal rain?
Our house sits from East to West, so we get the sun shining in the house all morning, it beats down on the roof all afternoon, and then as it sets, we get the sun some more. With all of our windows open and fans going, we got the house to a nice cool 90 degrees! What is up with that?
This weekend it was too warm to stay home so we went out and saw Monster House, My Super Ex-Girlfriend, took the buggars bowling, and went out to eat. Anything to get some A/C. Every single hardware store is out of air conditioners. They are almost out of fans as well. Gotta love living in the Northwest during a heat wave. I am almost tempted to just sit in the truck with the A/C on high!
I have never looked more forward to coming to work because I knew I would be cool here. The buggars have swimming lessons today so they will be happy playing in the water. Two weeks of that for them.
No cooking for me this week either. The kitchen upstairs is about 100 degrees. Think we are having cold deli sammiches tonight for dinner. Stock up on Gatorade for the buggars and us and we will be set. =)
