I'm looking over older sections of The Circled Green and just realised one of my characters just had a "JESUS CHRIST IT'S A LION GET IN THE CAR" sort of reaction to a faerie dude showing up.
This is especially impressive considering the book is supposed to be set in Victorian Scotland.
And looking at the stalking by the villains/morally ambiguous fae thing that's going on in the story... it's sort of like one of those nesting dolls things. T is stalking D who is stalking C who is stalking A who is going to get very upset when she learns about what is going on. Because unlike the others, she knows creeping on people is creepy, and that she doesn't like it at all so stop it it's creepy.
Also, I've been applying the list thing
ceilidh-ann has been using as part of her sparkle project thing to my WIPs to see how it's looking/what I should watch out for. Am very pleased that there is plenty of familial interaction, especially between Nathan and Aurora.
In other news, assignments suck.
