I’m not sure why I came, I guess I thought it would be the same...

... but it’s all so far from what I remembered.

Hung out with Mark last night. Tried Tibetan food (at Martsa on Elm in Davis Sq.) for the first time - it was quite the tasty experience! Indian and Chinese influences abounded on the menu. There were some really interesting things I wasn't quite adventurous enough to try, like salted and buttered Tibetan tea... there's always next time though (and there will be a next time).

Oh, right, hanging out with Mark. The closest I can approximate the experience is, it was like an awkward date. We're still trying to find our groove again as friends, and I'm starting to kinda worry that we've grown apart more than either of us realizes. Although, maybe this all just needs more time, and more effort on both of our parts for finding time to hang out and maybe get back into some more old-school activities. After that, maybe I'll have a better idea on whether we're able to connect like we used to, or if we've both become too different.

*shrugs*

I can't get too down on that though... still lotsa fun stuff coming up lately, with some half-formed ideas for more funnery. Other things are evening out a bit, feeling a bit more real, and time is back to flying away, which is good. Thinking back to August, it all seems so long ago, although it completely isn't. 3 weeks back in that direction seems like 3 years, whereas 3 weeks forward will be here before I know it. Very strange.

Now, back to your regularly scheduled hump-day... err, Wednesday!

food, friends
