Dreamshare - Everyone Leaves
[Happens at about 4 a.m, open to lonely people everywhere.]
You are loved.
You are warm, safe, happy. Everything you need is here. You are with someone who you love and who in turn loves you. Who they are, their features, their scent, the feel of them, their presence in the Force, what kind of love you share, all are vague in the way that dreams are vague. And that didn't matter. You are loved.
And yet, you're not really happy, because you know it can't last. It never does. It can't. Everyone leaves. Everyone is taken or goes away. Do you even deserve love?
You will lose your love. You will be alone again. In the end, you will always be alone.
So you weep, silently, no tears flowing to wet the short fuzz on your cheeks, your shoulders never shaking with sobs. There's no point in letting anyone see. You duck your head so that your love can't see your face and weep. Your love knows, of course. They touch you, and keep their presence near to warm yours, and stay with you until your grief is lifted. You're glad of that. You are not hated for your weakness. One person can see this and accept it.
But they will be gone soon. You'll be alone.
It's not so bad. You can accept it. It's just that you'll miss them so much when they're gone.
