you know what the most fun part of this job is? crushing the hopes of total jerks. it almost makes it worth it to deal with pushy, rude applicants when you can reveal to them that their chances of gaining acceptance are not only very near zero, but actually zero, as you cancelled their application days ago. i've been able to experience this unique professional thrill two days in a row.
