Marvellous Monday

I was going to call this post 'Weekly goals update' but then I thought a little alliteration would be nicer ;)

Today I have been swimming. I managed 20 lengths, and felt fit enough to do more, which is good, but couldn't be arsed with dodging all the other people and children, so felt 20 was enough! I could feel my thigh muscles stretching (contracting the other way I suppose) after epic* horse riding on Wednesday. Perhaps swimming and horse riding will complement each other nicely; I have never done both at the same before (that I can remember). I have also re-watched episode 1 of The White Queen. I need to spend 5 minutes not thinking but I will do that in bed when I have peace and quiet!

  3. Aiming for tomorrow, must remember to check ingredients (and decide what to bake!)
  4. People seem to have mostly suggested volunteering but I think that's too easy. Thinking caps still on!

Sorry for added drivel this week but I'm hoping this will help keep me on track.

* In this instance 'epic' just means lots of sitting trot!
