Bah!
Today was the first day of Tues./Thurs. classes. I went to Intro. to Drama, but didn't go to Archery and Golf. I've decided to drop that class since it's pretty much impossible for me to get from one side of campus to the other in ten minutes. In Intro. to Drama today I learned that I'm gonna have to do a monologue at some point. I also have to get up in front of class and tell them about myself on Thurs. Have I mentioned I hate doing anything in front of people? After that class I headed over to the liberal arts building to see my adviser since she told me to see her today about the computer graduation thing. I waited about an hour 'til she was done with another student. She dropped the class for me and told me she didn't have any new info. about the graduation thing. So I need to see Dr. Hudson and talk to him about it. I'll do that Fri. She said if she finds out anything before then, she'll let me know. Also on Fri. I'm gonna run around and see if I can get a work study job. I was told the psych. department doesn't need anyone, but that I should go to the English dept. and possibly the art dept. too.
I'm supposed to have homework in Chinese, but I'm not sure what to do. I mean she told us to look at the website of a university in Hawaii which is using the same books we're supposed to be using, but I'm not sure what to do with that. I mean does she want us to print it out? Surely not..... Maybe she just wants us to look at it. Also in German I'm supposed to look at pages 2-9. I'll do that in a bit. I should really see about refreshing my brain on French stuff too. I really don't feel like doing that though.... my tummy has been hurting on and off all day today.
On another note, Gustav scares the hell outta me. It very possibly could hit us straight on. I'm really hoping it doesn't. Katrina is still very fresh in my memory. I don't wanna take any more cold showers and eat nothing but PB&J. I also don't wanna have to work during a hurricane which I will most likely have to do if it hits us. Domino's sucks ass in that area. They don't care if it's snowing, storming, or anything like that.....we'd have to deliver regardless. They really don't pay me enough to deal with that.
