Weekend and other things
Friday I headed out to see if I could find the new mall in Ridgeland, The Renaissance. I ended up driving down Highland Colony Parkway for a good little while before I even saw it. When I finally did get to it, it was HUGE and very much crowded still. I mean this place could have it's own zip code it was so big. One day next weekend I think I'm gonna actually go walking around it. They had alot of stores that weren't actually open yet. After I drove around looking at the place I tried to find my way to David's. I ended up getting very lost. However, the way I figure it if you follow a road long enough you have to end up on some major road, right? Well, in this case I was right. It ended in Flora on 49 N. So I got on the road and headed toward David's. I wanted to go to Smoothie King before going over there 'cause I had seen a sign for it in The Renaissance.....it made me want a smoothie from there. After that I headed to David's. I hung out with Ryan and Toni for a while 'cause David wasn't home. When he got home I told him I wanted to talk to him when he got a chance. Well, I ended up giving him a note that I had typed up the night before 'cause I figured there'd never be a good time to talk to him. So eventually we went to get something to eat and I told him that I had something for him, but it depended on how he reacted to the note whether I gave it to him or not. So he read it and sat there for a minute. He ate his food and went to smoke. I told him that I really wanted to give him the gift I had for him so I needed some sort of information. I won't share what he said 'cause it's personal. We are still whatever we are....however, he still has problems and I'm gonna try to help him as much as I can. I'm not giving up on him. Anyway, I gave him his H.I.V. giant microbe. He was amused. I'm hoping to get a picture of him with it at some point, but knowing him it may never happen.
Saturday I watched some movies on TV and ate several Jello shots. At around 9:40 or so we left to see Doomsday....I was actually surprised that David wanted to go see it with me. It was really good. I almost wanna go see it again.
Sunday was pretty much like Saturday except around 8:00 or so I was told that we were going to eat sushi and see 10,000 B.C. I wasn't asked mind you....I was told. David explained that Beth said I had no choice. I don't see why 'cause all they did while we were at Nagoya was talk about Conan. I didn't have to be there for that. I really had no desire to see 10,000 B.C. either, but what else was I gonna do. It was actually better than I expected it to be, but I still didn't want to have to pay $8.50 for it.
Anyway, now I'm home and still waiting for the DSL installation kit to get here. I'm really impatient. I want it now! Alas, I have to wait 'til it gets here.....*sigh*
